Anne Green-Armytage

Anne Green-Armytage is a freelance garden photographer and feature writer. Her work is published regularly in books and magazines. She is a member of the Garden Writers' Guild and the Garden Photographers’ Association.

Anne started taking photographs at the age of seven, and has had a passion for plant photography for many years, seeking to create simple but beautiful images which will stand the test of time. With a background in traditional darkroom printing, she has developed a range of digital techniques which emulate classical monochrome photography giving it an individual and contemporary twist. In 2004 she won the Garden Writers' Guild Photographers’ Choice Award for her image ‘Angelica Unfurling’ - see the classic innovation gallery.
